2023 Vignoles Best of Show Governors Cup for White Wine

Twelve Oaks Vineyard winemaker Doug Palm participated in the 2024 IGGVA Annual Grape and Wine Education Conference in February 2024 in Springfield, Illinois. In addition to attending educational sessions and networking with other grape growers and winemakers, Twelve Oaks was beyond honored to have three TOV wines represented at the awards dinner.

Best of Show winner Twelve Oaks Vignoles was served for the fourth course at the awards dinner with brown butter seared scallops. The 2021 Chambourcin Classic, a Governors Cup award-winning wine, was served for the final course of the evening, sticky toffee pudding made with local cream cheese, toffee, drizzle, and hazelnut. Also showcased during happy hour was the Marquette Rosé, Top Award Rosé in any Appellation.

And congratulations to our friends, Laura and Mike Wilke/Wilke Vineyards, for being awarded Vitriculturist of the Year! Their delicious grapes are used in our Marquette Rosé and Vidal Blanc wines.
